Equilibrium Institute is organising a consultation series on climate neutrality in the autumn of 2022! The main objective is to inform decision-makers about the policy proposals affecting their sector, and the changes, measures and opportunities expected in their area.  In addition, it is also important that the participants’ feedback is used as the basis for our future policy recommendations.

In Hungary, the building and transportation sectors are the main contributors to greenhouse emissions, so addressing these two sectors has huge potential  in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

At our latest event in Szekszárd, Dóra Csernus, the Institute’s senior climate and environmental policy expert presented our climate-related policy proposals and talked about possible solutions along with Barbara Botos, Ambassador for Climate Affairs and Climate Diplomacy, and Diana Ürge-Vorsatz, Vice-Chair of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group III. The program is supported by the European Climate Foundation.
