The Equilibrium Institute Returns as an Official Hungarian Partner of the NATO Public Forum

NATO Nyilvános Fórum

The Equilibrium Institute is proud to once again serve as an official Hungarian partner of the NATO Public Forum.

Last week in The Hague, Réka Szemerkényi, our Director of International Relations, represented the Institute at the Public Forum organised alongside the NATO Summit 2025.

We are honoured to have participated once again, as an official Hungarian partner, in NATO’s leading public platform for professional dialogue. We highly value the opportunity to contribute to international discussions focused on finding common responses to the most urgent strategic challenges facing global security today.

This year’s Forum addressed several key strategic questions, including:

  • the arguments for and against introducing the new 5% of GDP defence spending target,
  • the Secretary General’s main messages at this year’s summit,
  • and the commitments made by NATO regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine and Ukraine’s future.
